8 Retention Strategies for your BIWOC Superstars!

“I was not an imposter; I was an outsider,” remarked Shatriece. “The unequal treatment of underrepresented employees goes unnoticed if there are no executive sponsors keeping tabs on their potential.”

The Founder

SHATRIECE TERRY is an advocate, author, and coach dedicated to diversity and inclusion in corporate spaces. Rising from humble beginnings in Compton to a senior director at a major tech firm, Shatriece has redefined what it means to be a woman of color in business.

  • Her journey revealed the persistent underrepresentation of Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC) in corporate leadership roles, driving her to establish Promote Black Women, Rebel Mentor and share the learnings of other BIWOC through her books.

Through the Rebel Mentor, Shatriece emphasizes the importance and power of mentorship and building bridges within companies to secure the support BIWOC women need to succeed. Her mission is to create a more inclusive workplace culture that values diversity, supports minority employees, and builds bridges for future corporate leaders.
